Don't Hire Carpet Cleaners Before Reading This

If you are thinking of hiring a carpet cleaning company then you should be aware of a few things before you make that call. First of all don't just hire anyone, be sure to look for reviews on sites like Yelp, Google Reviews and Angie's List to help you find the right one for the job you need. Ask for quotes and do price comparisons by calling at least 5-6 companies. Your carpets on average need to be clean at least 2-3 times a year to remove dirt and stains that is accumulated over time.

Many companies offer a variety of services on top of carpet cleaning like upholstery cleaning. If you do plan to get an additional service take the time to look for coupons or discounts you can use for getting both services. Usually you can find special promotions during different seasons on their own site.

If you recently bought your carpet and it comes with a warranty then be sure that the company you hire does not use any chemicals that can be harmful to it. It can ruin your carpet and void the warranty on your purchase. Be sure that you know exactly what chemicals and what process will be used to clean your carpet.

Don't focus on what brand cleaners the company will use, focus on their customer service, attitude and whether or not they are really helpful. If they answer all your questions and provide you with a detailed process on how they work it will make you feel more comfortable, after all you are paying them for it. Cheapest price sometimes doesn't reflect quality work.

Be sure any business you hire to wash your carpets has a physical address. If you have some kind of problem with the job that this company provides, you must have an address where you can resolve any issues. Don't employ a company that could only provide you with a Post Office box number. Hopefully, you can be more confident by using the above tips.
