If you are a Christian, you should love being taught whenever you have the chance. Although you can possibly get some insight into God's word during your personal devotion, being taught also has a way of improving your spiritual life. When you find a Sunday school where the workers are learned in some Christian education principles for teachers, you can be assured that your depth of understanding in the word of God and your fellowship with the Holy Spirit will improve.

It is necessary that the teacher has some experience in whatever topic is to be taught. For example, if the topic is on "quiet time, " the teacher should be the type that doesn't joke with his or hers. This is because several questions will be asked and the extent to which justice would be done to them depends largely on the tutor's personal quiet time practice.

It is natural to get provoked when you are trying your best to impart knowledge and your students seem not to be getting the points clearly. You shouldn't express your anger even if you would be justified to do so. Instead, as your students ask questions, you should be patient enough to hear them so as to know exactly where they are getting it wrong.

Bible study classes don't make much sense when the students do not ask questions. Even the teacher is propelled to release more from his wealth of experience and knowledge when it is time for this. That is why it pays more to have some time dedicated to questions. Some ten to fifteen minutes after bible study to answer questions will also help your students to improve.

Every Christian school should be based on the Bible. It is important to relate whatever anyone teaches to the scriptures before it can be accepted. As a parent who is taking a child to a Sunday school, this step must be taken to ensure that your child doesn't end up hearing something that can make him derail from the faith.

Time management can improve one's performance in any project that is being undertaken. If you own a Sunday school where you teach Christian values, it would be more interesting if every program is done and none is left out, as is usually the case when the time is not well managed. Among other things such as praising, singing and praying, some quality time should also be allocated to studying the Word.

It is easy to go through a topic hurriedly especially when you have a lot to cover with your students. However, this must be discouraged as it pays more to teach one topic for several minutes if that is what it will take to drive home the points. A teacher who handles different age grades should also note that it is unwise to allocate the same study time to a teenager and one who is an adult.

The benefits of Christian education cannot be overemphasized especially for parents who want to make sure that their children get the right teachings. For such parents, two things must not be neglected. They must know the tutor's background and be sure that the center is conducive to learning.
