Unbelievable! Listening to enthusiasts for Apple products, you would believe that they were talking about a Ferrari or Lamborghini when they give their reviews of the sleek design of the iPhone 5s Video Camera.

I guess we can understand part of that enthusiasm. Just like the popular Testarossa model, there is a lot of power underneath the iPhone 5s hood.

It's the added functionality which could just be the catalyst for pocket-sized video production for YouTube marketing. Why? Because the performance of the iPhone 5s matches the more expensive (and complicated) DSLR cameras that the pros use.

A quick search on YouTube already reveals several iPhone 5s Video Camera reviews. However, when you're looking for a video camera to shoot video for your online business, you really want to concentrate on the information that is most relevant to your final goal.

What goal is that? Creating great quality videos with as little hassle as possible.

But first, here's a little techno-spy kind of fun. The new Home button has Touch ID which is tech-nerdy cool. It can read your fingerprint, allowing only you to unlock the phone.

How is the video quality for the iPhone 5s?

The short length of the mic will limit your range of movement. A wired or wireless lavalier mic gives you greater mobility.

So what?

What does that mean? Well, if you are filming in the mode where you can see what you're filming by looking at the screen display, then you are filming with the lower pixel front facing camera. If you are filming the opposite, then you are using the camera with more pixels. This is significant because the higher megapixels used during the original filming, the better quality video you'll get.

How does the Audio sound?

What about the Sound?

It's best to get an external mic for any video camera you're using. You can use the headphone/mic combo that comes with the phone as a quick and easy solution.

The short answer is yes....as long as you're shooting under 4 hours.

Will the Battery Keep Going and Going?

The short answer is yes....as long as you're shooting under 4 hours. Filming video is a battery intensive activity. In most reviews of the iPhone camera people are finding they can get about 4 hours on a full charge...which isn't bad at all.

In all cases, be sure to have the camera battery fully charged before you go out to shoot video.

So if you're going to use the camera as your primary camera in an area without easy access to an electrical outlet be sure that it's fully charged.

The new Home button has Touch ID which is tech-nerdy cool. It can read your fingerprint, allowing only the owner of the iPhone 5s to unlock the phone.

Slow Motion. Think of the creative options with this new feature!

What else is new on the iPhone 5s Video Camera?

Pricing is not too bad either. With a network phone plan, the iPhone 5s is about $200-$300. Without a phone plan your costs could be $700 and higher.
