When it comes to religion, different people have different beliefs. This may be influenced by the environment that one grew in. Most people are shaped by the society they live in. Others have the freedom to choose their path when they are older while others do not get this freedom. Still and all, religion is a sensitive issue because there are so many different denominations that have their various doctrines and principles that guide and govern them. Have a look at some of the principles of Churches that Observe the Sabbath Winnipeg can offer.

Most people in the world perceive Saturday as a typical working day or weekend. They therefore either go to work or do their house chores and run errands. However, some people regard this day to be holy. This is according to the statements in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. Thus, Saturday is a holy day to these believers.

The second belief is that Saturday was instituted to be a day of worship by God Himself after creation. When God finished creating the world, He took a rest on the seventh day. This day was Saturday. Therefore, God blessed and approved it to be the Holy day to worship Him. He also sanctified the day and set it aside for praying and resting.

The third principle that makes Saturday a holy day according to many is that it is written in the commandments of God. It is the fourth commandment that commands people to leave everything they do on a daily basis and worship God. This is a command that God gave to His people, and it should not be broken.

The seventh day was ordained and blessed by God unlike the other days of the week. This is a day that was created for humankind. God ensured that this day was set aside for humanity. Therefore, people have no choice but rest on this day for it was made for them. This means that people should not feel that they were created to benefit the day. Rather, the holy day was created for them.

The fifth belief that most keepers of this day believe is that this day symbolizes the second return of the almighty Kingdom of the Holy One. When Jesus comes back for a second time, believers will be relieved of all their worries and worldly struggles. They will be saved from this world and rest forever with the Almighty.

Believers also worship God on Saturday because Jesus also rested on this day during His stay on earth. Paul, one of the apostles of God also worshipped God on Saturday. He, together with other apostles, prayed, worshipped and did good deeds on this day. This is a good indication that Saturday is a holy day.

Even if most people still do not believe that Saturday is a holy day, they should at least feel its importance. This is a day that has been purely set aside by God so that people can rest and worship Him. All people need rest for them to feel strong enough to face another working week.
